I tasted this against Early Times BiB and liked the ETBiB better. Of course it is my daily favorite, at half the price, so I am prolly a bit biased.
I do like this 100 proof S/B store pick better than the S/B Barrel Strength store pick I bought, which I found way too hot to enjoy. I proof that one down to about 110 and it was much more enjoyable.
My “go-to” OFs continue to be 1920 and 1910.

I’ll eventually open all the bottles I buy, as I’m not an investor, but for now these look good as they are, on my shelf. I collect whiskey based on a variety of factors, not just taste. Unique bottles, labels, history, stories, scarcity, locale, taste, etc. I collect what I like. You should collect what you like, not what I like!

When someone comes to my home bar I love a story to tell, an experience to give, and of course a good dram of whiskey.
